Wastewater Runoff Collection System

AE2S designed a wastewater collection system to collect the runoff from a 4.8-acre site in accordance with the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency standards. The design consisted of the construction of an earthen wastewater pond, site piping, manholes, concrete curbing, earthen berms, and ditches to divert and collect all contaminated runoff generated from a 25-year/24-hour rain event. An operations and management plan was also assembled for the owner, indicating the proper use of the wastewater pond and level management procedures.
